How do the dates work?

     There is no pre-set schedule of dates, and your holiday may begin any day of the week. The goal at BCHV is to accommodate your schedule as best as possible, so you are able to choose the ideal time frame to suit your travel plans.

     So close to Vancouver, a million miles from the usual. With a talented horse you can rely on, escape to the mountains where the air is clean and the stresses of daily life melt away. Miles of trails take you deep into the wilds, the sounds of crystal creeks and nature chiming with the natural rhythm of hoof beats.

     Awaken each morning open and curious as to what wonderful new experiences this day has in store for you.

     Know that you can trust the horses are loved and cared for, and that your eco-adventure leaves a minimal impact on a beautifully unique environment.

     With the lodge rides, rustic is a word you’ll soon forget; you’ll enjoy lots of riding, warm country hospitality and delectable meals. Guests feel like welcome friends, only a little more pampered!

     To stay for a week is ideal, but even a day will leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.

     Packages include: up to 6 hours of daily horseback riding on a wide array of trails, lessons, cozy accommodations, multi-course meals, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. Menus are planned with your preferences in mind.

$2547 based on double occupancy, single occupancy: additional $240

5 day/4 night/1 Inn ride (riding all 5 days)

$1997 based on double occupancy, single occupancy: additional $160

3 day/2 night/1 Inn ride (riding all 3 days)

$1197 based on double occupancy, single occupancy: additional $80

Overnight Getaway - 2 day/1 night ride

$697 based on double occupancy, single occupancy: additional $40

Daycation - 1 day/1 night ride

$347 based on double occupancy, single occupancy: additional $40

Wine tour - 1 day

Please note:

Lodge Rides are all inclusive packages with the exceptions of Day Spa Services, alcohol and wine tasting dinners. The Horseback Wine Tour may be substituted for a regular day of riding during the Lodge Ride at no extra charge.

Prices are stated in Canadian Dollars.

Prices do not include HST (Harmonized sales tax). HST is 12% or 6% for international travelers.

Foreign Currency is calculated at the current exchange rate for the dates that the deposit and the balance are received.

 

Essential Massage and Day Spa Services: performed at the Inns by Pamella Lindley:

Aromatherapy, Swedish Relaxation Massage, Facials, Pedicures, Hot Stone Massage, and more. A la carte or let Pamella design a package just for you.

Jellicoe Station Inn also offers a luxury room: with a private balcony, king size bed and Jacuzzi bathtub:

Wine Tasting: hosted by Jellicoe Station Inn with Orofino Vineyards and Winery:

A five course wine taster’s dinner is served with a different premium wine with each course. Enjoy this special event from the Jellicoe patio overlooking Chain Lake. A minimum of 4 people are required.

                                                 Additional $79 per person

 

Pickup and return to Kelowna or Penticton Airport available:

Round trip (can take up to 4 people)            $350

 

Reservation Policy:

Please book early in the season to ensure availability. A 50% deposit is required to hold reservations.

 

Payment Polices:

Deposits: may be paid with a personal cheque in any currency.

(Deposits will be calculated into Canadian equivalent using the exchange rate the bank gives on the date the deposit is received. You will immediately be sent a receipt with the exchange rate showing the exact amount received.)

Please pay within two weeks of receiving your booking invoice to ensure your booking.

 Final payment: Please pay with a bank draft or certified cheque in Canadian Funds.

(We also accept cash for final payment in any currency, using the current exchange rate calculated at the beginning of the ride.)

Your final payment is due the morning you check in for your ride.

 

Cancellation Policy:

Full refund - $150, if cancelled at least 30 days before your vacation.

50% of the deposit refunded, if cancelled less than 30 days before your vacation.

Full refund, if we are forced to cancel (i.e. Forestry closes the bush due to extreme fire hazard).

Please allow 30 days to process refund.

Due to the high costs and prior preparation of these rides, no refund will be given on any trip in progress.

Please note that the cancellation policies are non-negotiable.

The operators of BC Horse Vacations reserve the right, at the sole discretion of the operators, to refuse service under certain breach of conditions.
